Static RPC methods

Currently RPC methods cannot be static. There is no reason for that.

This feature is a great first issue for people wishing to contribute. It's fairly simple and allows to get dirty with the core of the MLAPI

So I just stumbled upon this, while I don't yet feel confident to implement the actual feature, I am wondering why I didn't get any error when trying to invoke a static method as an RPC.

I didn't change LogLevel so it's set to Normal.

Could we get a reason why this issue was closed? My guess is that it's "closed: won't implement" (it certainly isn't "closed as completed" like the message above says), but just confirming that would be nice to know. Or would a community PR still be accepted for this feature?

For others: placing [Rpc] on a random static method gives no error, at build time or runtime, but doesn't actually do anything (calls to it call the method like normal). Only if the static method happens to be in a NetworkBehavior-derived class does it give a build error, saying that the [Rpc] attribute can't be placed on a static method.
