Serious slowdown of jupyter notebooks in vs code

Summary

Guys, I don't know what you've done, but with latest ruff (I checked: I updated it) when all notebook is executing, cells are rendering SO SLOOOOOOWLY...

switched on black: same other settings, all works fine.

I realized that something changed about a month ago. But I couldn't believe that was due to ruff. I was removing extensions one by one until I finally realized what is going on

Could you share the notebook you observed this issue on or maybe some of the information from the ruff-vscode troubleshooting section? I'd be surprised if something like this happened without us noticing or someone else reporting it, but that's certainly not to say it's impossible! I think we'll need more information to track down the issue, though.
