Does Blinko have an Auto-Save feature?

I started to use Blinko couple days ago, and have already run into a few instances where I typed a note but didn't click the Send button to save it, and the note was lost. Is there a way to make the note save automatically? This is a huge problem. I couldn't find a preference to enable it.

Blinko does not currently have an Auto-Save feature for notes. Notes are only saved permanently when you click the Send button. While the editor does save your input to local storage as you type, this is just a temporary cache and won't persist your note unless you manually send it. There is no setting or preference to enable automatic saving, and all note saving is tied to explicit user actions—there's no background or periodic save implemented at this time. Source

To avoid losing notes, make sure to click Send before leaving the page or closing the editor.

Agreed - I've been test driving blinko this week and was using it to do some notes while shopping for cars. Walked away from keyboard for a bit and chrome had crashed while i was gone, lost a good hour or two's worth of edits i had made because the note was still open when it crashed.

Very much would like to see it auto-save edits to notes, or at least periodically make a draft snapshot server-side, similar to google keep.
