First row icon does not show

The icon for the first entry does not appear.

After adding a dummy row both icons are present. Swapping entries around also works for the second row but not the first. What's the way I''m supposed to use the script?

Can you pastebin your theme and config file? I cannot reproduce the issue.

I can reproduce it with a default theme and no config too with.

rofi -modes language:~/repositories/dotfiles/scripts/rofi-language.sh -show language -show-icons

Also assume entries and icons between the entries are different, that was me copying it wrong.

But now the first icon has a margin in front of it in my theme.

I tried to reproduce this with your above theme, but I don't see it.
Can you screenshot it?

• I noticed element selected.normal having a border makes the first icon offset but then it doesn't update when the selected row changes.
• There's an offset on the left.
• Selected element's border is narrower than in next.

Checked again, it does it on x11 for me, but not on wayland. Curious why as the drawing logic is not different.

Why it behave differently I don't know, but this is kinda to be expected.

rofi does not constantly (for performance issues) re-calculate sizes and offsets in the listview.
To fix it give every element the same size border, but change the color from background to foreground based on selection.

Oh yeah, I figured the invisible border trick. I only included it because the behaviour there is different from how the main branch does it.
I still don't know how to fix the element border not reaching the window border, though it's not important. I don't know if that reproduces for you, but it's on the screenshots.
Also scrollbars don't work, they're static at the beginning of the track.
