Windows10 GVim. How to use wsl shell for translate-shell.vim plugin only

Hi, and thanks for the nice plugin.

I have the same config as here

Windows 10, WSL, GVIM 8, installed translate-shell.

However I can't set wsl shell globally in .vimrc file:
set shell=C:\Windows\Sysnative\wsl.exe
because another plugins use the windows cmd.exe shell.

Is it possible to specify a shell for the translate-shell.vim plugin only?
Or maybe there is another solution?

I have found a workaround.
The following trans.bat file was created and placed in an accessible vim path.
@echo off >nul 2>nul
C:\Windows\Sysnative\wsl.exe trans %*
:Trans command is now working.

But translating text in visual selection lead to an error:
Error detected while processing function trans#Trans[7]..common#window#OpenTrans:
line 1:
E484: Can't open file R:\WINDOW~1\VIo66C8.tmp

Thanks for detailed report. Unfortunately, I'm not using Window but I'll try to help you. Could you try to specify let g:trans_bin="C:\Windows\Sysnative\wsl.exe <path_to_directory_with_bin>"? Replace <path_to_directory_with_bin> by path to directory that contains executable for translate-shell. What will happen in this case?

I specified
let g:trans_bin="C:\\Windows\\Sysnative\\wsl.exe "
and it works now without .bat file in normal mode!
But in visual mode exactly the same error occurs.
It looks like plugin can't create temp file.

Fine that now it works without .bat file. I'll configure virtual machine with Windows and take a look on the problem with temporary file when I'll have free time. Sorry for inconvenience.

sorry for delay in reply. I didn't have enough free time and machine with window. I found that it looks like shell in window has some problems with symbol '\n'. I will take a look how can I fix it. But also, I found a workaround maybe it can help you :) You can use option g:trans_join_lines (you can read about it here). This option will join lines. I mostly use it for getting better translation. You can find more detail in the documentation.
