Keeps removing my selected conda environment and loading base instead!

When I kick the footer and choose the correct environment it tells me the environment was already active!

this was working fine for years. What has changed!?

try adding python.useEnvironmentsExtension: false and let me know if this fixes the problem. May be an issue with our new environments extension
