How is it possible to access the cache API inside a Nitro route?

Hey, in case it helps, you should be able to just use the global caches object and if you're in the cloudflare environment, it will work. I'm using a util function for a bit more safety like:

function tryGetCloudflareCacheApi(): CacheStorage | undefined {
  // Only interact with the Cache API when running the app as a CF Worker
  if (import.meta.preset !== "cloudflare-module") return;

  let cachesInstance: CacheStorage | undefined;
  try {
    cachesInstance = caches as unknown as CacheStorage;
