While using Tock Studio, we identified a few changes opportunities in the New sentence section.
This section currently lacks guidance and clarity, which can make the experience less intuitive for users.
Issues identified
- The section lacks contextual guidance
- The text field placeholder, "Write some text", is too generic
- The action button label is not explicit enough
Suggested changes
1. Add a short explanatory subtitle
Add a short sentence below the title to clearly explain the purpose of the page and what will happen after submitting a sentence.
Example:
Test how the NLP model interprets a sentence. Detected intents and extracted entities will appear below.
2. Replace the current placeholder with a more helpful example
Replace the current placeholder with an example that helps users immediately understand what kind of input is expected.
Example:
e.g. Cancel my subscription
3. Rename the button
The current label "GO" is not explicit enough.
A clearer label such as "Analyze →" would better reflect the action.
Expected result
A clearer and more intuitive New sentence section, with better guidance, more explicit wording, and a smoother user experience.
