What happened?

ventoy升级到1.1.11后，安装ubuntu（24.04.4）失败，在选择语言之后，就会跳出一个崩溃提示，提示是subiquity494错误，问是否要汇报错误。无视这个错误继续安装程序，到选择如何设置硬盘这一步页面空白，没有任何选项。更换电脑，更换硬盘都无效。降级到1.1.10后正常安装。

Exact same Issue!
This error cost me hours, because I tried everything else first (Secure Boot, VDM, RAID/AHCI, Fast Boot)
I’ve never had any trouble with Ventoy before :(
Really frustrating.
And for anyone who doesn’t want to translate the issue creator’s description, here’s a free service from me:

After upgrading Ventoy to 1.1.11, the installation of Ubuntu (24.04.4) failed. After selecting the language, a crash message appeared indicating a Subiquity 494 error and asking whether to report the error. Ignoring this error and continuing with the installation resulted in a blank screen at the step where disk configuration is selected, with no options available. Neither switching to a different computer nor replacing the hard drive resolved the issue. The installation proceeded normally after downgrading to 1.1.10.

Note from my side:
lsblk shows the nvme drive, and it can be partitioned using GParted, but it isn't available or shown in the installer GUI.
The ISO's checksum is correct on the ventoy USB drive.

Root cause assumption: Subiquity Crash via Ventoy v1.1.11

It seems that the Ubuntu 24.04 LTS installer (Subiquity) fails to display any disks due to a crash in the block probing phase when booted via Ventoy v1.1.11., because ventoy creates a block device mapping (disk-dm-0) that the Subiquity/Curtin engine cannot resolve or handle.

Details:
The installer crashes with a ValueError because it encounters a device-mapper node (disk-dm-0) that is not correctly registered in the storage configuration tree:

How to reproduce:

1. Create a bootable USB using Ventoy v1.1.11.
2. Boot the Ubuntu 24.04 LTS Desktop ISO from the Ventoy menu.
3. Start the installation process and proceed to the "Storage Configuration" step.
4. The disk list will be empty, or the installer will notify about a crash.

Workaround:
Downgrading to Ventoy v1.1.10 immediately resolves the problem.

我用虚拟机测试，之前的Ventoy版本，确实是会像你问题中描述的那样报错。用这个fix的版本测试倒是能成功安装完成
你确实同一个环境下用 1.1.10 版本完整的安装完成这样测试通过了是吗？
