WLED 0.15.1 on esp8266 response issues, UI very slow

What happened?

I have a wled device GLEDOPTO on esp8266 https://gledopto.com/h-pd-151.html which wled software

From the very begging i do have a stability / connectivity issue. Wled driver is 1 meter away from unifi router.

the GUI is not loading at all or is very very slow. I tried to switch to fixed ip both by unifi address reservation and a fixed ip on the device. Still the same. i do have a buttons connected and they seems to work OK I can not even open the GUI right now to show you the exact software version and co on.

after factory reset i can log in

2 FPS? and this is right after a factory reset, nothing else set?

edit: I forgot 15.1 uses very low fps on solid FX. does that go up if you select a different FX? Are you using home assistant? if yes, disable it and try again.

Experiencing similar issues with my ESP8266. Not using Home Assistant, running v0.15.3. Using a fixed IP. The device responds to requests, but won't load the Web UI/loads it incredibly slowly.

This is what I see when the Web UI loads:

Interestingly, if I unplug the lights and plug them back in, I can send one request before the light begins to error out.
